The cost factors are stable even before the range is.
These are the variables that move scar-camouflage pricing up or down. Even without a published Med Spa range, you can map your case to where it lands on the spectrum.

Scar size and length.
A single short C-section scar is at the lower end. A long midline tummy-tuck scar, or a circumferential mastopexy scar, is at the higher end. Pricing is typically calibrated to estimated chair time rather than literal square-inch measurement.

Scar count.
Multiple scars treated in the same session are usually priced as a bundle rather than per-scar. Patients with several stretch-mark clusters or with both vertical and horizontal incisions land in the mid-to-upper range.

Expected session count.
Most cases run two sessions; some run three or four. The consultation estimates session count; quoted pricing is usually presented per-session and as a package.

Whether laser revision is part of the plan.
If laser scar revision precedes camouflage, that is a separate line item with its own pricing — published in pricing-ranges for the laser side. Bundled scheduling does not change the unit price but consolidates the chair time and the consultation overhead.

Pigment complexity.
A scar that crosses multiple skin tones (across an undertone shift, near a stretch-mark border, on the décolletage where tone is uneven) takes longer to color-match and may price up versus a uniform single-tone scar.

Long-term refinement.
The cost of refinement sessions every five to ten years is generally lower than the initial plan because the color match is already established. Annual sun-care checks are included in the original plan.
How we structure the conversation.
Scar camouflage is priced in the consultation and almost always quoted as a package across the expected two to four sessions. Per-session unit pricing exists but is rarely the right framing — the value is in the completed plan, not in the first session in isolation.
If you are weighing camouflage against laser scar revision (or both), the consultation produces a combined plan rather than two separate quotes. The savings from bundled scheduling are small; the savings from one team running both is significant.

Why isn't a price published yet?
We are finalizing the published range for the Med Spa side. Rather than ship a placeholder figure, we are keeping the page light and producing per-case quotes at consultation. When the range is confirmed, this page will be rewritten around it.
Is the cost the same as at Ruth Swissa?
The procedure is identical; the published RS range is the reference until the SMS range is finalized. Variance, if any, will be small and disclosed at consultation.
Does insurance ever cover this?
Rarely. Some plans cover post-mastectomy areola reconstruction or documented post-traumatic reconstruction; the rest is private pay. We can write a letter of medical necessity for patients pursuing reimbursement.
Can you give me a ballpark over the phone?
Yes — our scheduling team can give you a rough order of magnitude based on scar size and count. A precise quote requires the consultation because color-match and session count are case-specific.
Do you offer financing?
