Dr. Charles Peterson
Medical Director
Dr. Charles was born in sunny Long Beach, California, and spent his formative years in the Inland Empire, where he received his primary education. He pursued higher education at California State University, San Bernardino, earning both a bachelor's and master's degree before continuing his academic journey in Nevada for Medical School. Returning to California, Dr. Charles completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Adventist Health Glendale, situated in Los Angeles. Throughout his training, he harbored a keen interest in aesthetics, initiating his first aesthetics training courses during his final year. Upon achieving Board Certification in Family Medicine, Dr. Charles inaugurated his first concierge Medspa practice. Simultaneously, he remained dedicated to medical education, serving as full-time faculty at Adventist Health Glendale Family Medicine Residency Program. Here, he not only trained but also assumed the role of Director for their Addiction Medicine program, succeeding one of his esteemed mentors/colleagues. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and professional growth, Dr. Charles embarked on collaborative ventures, establishing four additional medical spas, including Swissa Medspa. Concurrently, he assumed the position of Associate Program Director for the Adventist Health Residency Program. His commitment to innovation and continuous learning is evident as he actively integrates new techniques and procedures into his practice. Beyond his clinical endeavors, Dr. Charles dedicates substantial time to mentoring medical students, residents, staff, and engaging with his local community, sharing his wealth of knowledge and expertise.
